Yes. You will need an instrument for your daily practice.

What is the language of instruction? Teachers can speak Marathi, English and Hindi.

What is the duration of the course? How long does it take to learn? There is no fixed duration. An average beginner student takes around 2-3 years to cover the basics. Some students learn quicker, some take more time.
Is the student given any homework? Yes. The teacher assigns pieces and exercises to practice every week.
